Restaurants

The State of California has the largest number of Arab Americans in any state, with the Greater Los Angeles Area constituting the largest cluster in the state. Each year, new immigrants from the Arab world choose California as their new home more than any other state for various reasons including the climate, which is very similar to the Middle East.  A cultural destination, Little Arabia District, located in Orange County is home to a vibrant community where there are dozens of Arab American-owned businesses and restaurants, Arab community events and organizations. Additionally, there are large numbers of Arab and other Middle Eastern communities scattered throughout Southern California including Armenians, Iranian-Americans, Chaldeans, and more.

The Anaheim corridor known unofficially as “Little Arabia” is a great collection of Arab-American owned businesses, restaurants, cafes, lounges and ethnic markets along Brookhurst Street and its surroundings in Anaheim.

Here’s a partial list of restaurants and grocery stores in Little Arabia that offer Arabic food and halal options. They also have served and supported refugees in Orange County!
